Lee's Pink Grapefruit is a popular laciniated  (fringed) dahlia known for its fizzy coral-pink and creamy hues and strong stems for cutting. It was hybridized by Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens and

Color Blend: A "fizzy" blend of coral-pink on the front of the petals with creamy or pale yellow accents at the base.

Bloom Size & Form: The blooms are approximately 5 inches across, though some growers have reported them as large as 7-8 inches in diameter. The form is laciniated, giving the petals a unique, slightly shredded or fringe-y edge.

Plant Height: Plants typically reach about 4 feet tall.

Cut Flower Qualities: This variety is considered a workhorse for cut flowers due to its long, dark, and strong stems. The dense petals are also noted to resist bruising well, which helps with handling and shipping.
